Sunday December 21st will be our semi-annual Corporate Encouragement Sunday when the Sunday Teaching will be replaced for a time of inviting any and all who are a part of the gathering to share with the church family what the Spirit has placed on their heart and mind. We invite you to take time this week and next to prayerfully consider how the Spirit may be inviting you to encourage and speak to the body on that Sunday.

Following the Sunday Gathering, everyone is invited to join us for a chili and soup pitch-in lunch and time for our family to decorate our church building for the Advent and Christmas season.

Join us on Friday evening, October 11th at 5:30 pm for our Annual Fall Bonfire. This is a place for all to come and gather, get to know each other more, and invite friends and neighbors as well. There will be kids activities, lawn games, s'mores, hot dogs, and more on the North Lawn. Bring blankets & lawn chairs!

Come for a night of music, prayer, and reflection in a largely member-led acoustic worship service situated around a bonfire on the North Lawn.

On Monday’s starting on August 12th, we will be hosting a weekly prayer night at the Building. This will be an ongoing space for general prayer and prayer requests. Come as you are!

Join us for a ten week study through the Book of Judges. We will be offering an in-person and virtual option! The in-person option will meet on Monday’s starting Sept 9th at 7pm at 445 N State Ave. The online option will meet on Thursday’s starting Sept 12th at 8:00pm on Zoom.

Sunday, Sept 8th we will be kicking off our Soma Youth Nights! Our Good News Club will be for children from kindergarten to 4th grade. Our new 5th-6th grade group called Kickstart will also be meeting. 

Kids will hear a bible lesson, worship, and build community with each other. All Soma kids and friends are welcome to join.

From 9:15am-9:45am in the Basement, one of our members will be putting together an adult and child Sunday School that walks through the core doctrines of the Christian faith using the New City Catechism along with Scripture and other helpful resources.

Sunday School will be hosted on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
